In a word ...... mercurial. I love learning and have had the good fortune to work in academia, publishing, the media & industry.

Now..... For the past several years I've worked as an editor for academic publishing houses,

including the Sophia Centre Press, Cambridge Scholastic & Bloomsbury: structure/flow/argument

critiques, copy editing, proofreading, indexing, and layout of conference proceedings, journals

and books.

I also provide editing and writing support for MA & PhD student dissertations and theses.

And then.... Prior to this, I set up and taught the music and art programme for grades 7-12 at the American School in Marrakech, Morocco. In the early 1990s, I co-founded a niche electronicsbusiness that exported to over 30 countries, serving first as Finance Director/CFO and later as Managing Director/CEO.  In the early 1980s, I worked for a local newspaper as radio columnist, listings supervisor and assistant Arts editor. Soon after, I blossomed into a freelance writer and editor, contributing features and interviews on technical and business topics to newspapers, magazines and PR companies on both sides of the Atlantic.
